The Supply Chain team is responsible for operating an end-to-end supply chain, incorporating all aspects of a comprehensive supply chain network. We strive to ensure efficiency in our ever expanding operations, and want to create customer delight by creating a seamless delivery experience.

We are looking for a driven, process-oriented individual to help us lead, develop and grow a high performing our warehousing and distribution network.You will be tasked with assessing our current setup and identify innovative and scalable solutions to enhance our operations. This role involves a great deal of multitasking and cross collaboration across a wide variety of teams, and is on-the-ground and hands-on. 

 

 

 

• Review current processes and set up new processes to continuously improve our operations.
• Oversee our relationship with our warehousing service providers.
• Work with the data team to create models and tools, to allow you to make analytical and strategic decisions in optimising inventory distribution and stock holding.
• Prioritise feedback from teams on internal systems and seek continuous improvement to ensure we continue to delight our customers.
• Adopt a continuous improvement approach for the enhancement of systems (drive automation), processes & planning tools to keep bettering the team to ensure we perform consistently ahead of the curve.
• Be autonomous. Work independently, and manage multiple projects under minimal supervision and be accountable for the quality of your work.

 

 

• 3 - 5 years experience in a role with specific experience in warehousing & distribution.
• Ability to understand the Supply Chain & Logistics’ environment within Yoco and how it impacts other operations within the organisation.
• Ability to to define & formulating strategies & processes to achieve goals
• Overall knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain operations.
• In depth understanding and experience of warehouse operations.
• WMS experience and knowledge.
• Relevant Tertiary qualification/certificate required.
• Proactive, confident and flexible.
• Ability to solve problems at source.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent organisational, project management and time management skills.
• Analytical skills with strong data capabilities
• Excellent attention to detail
• Process orientated
• Data driven and customer focused

 

• Experience in establishing up a warehouse/fulfilment centre
• Coding ability (SQL & VBA)
